N.B.: Input and Output solder points are actually correctly inverted in respect to other microprocessors, which is correct. Anyway soldering input and output wires inverted won't damage the console or the chip, it just won't work in reading backup discs.

After you've installed the modchip, you may need to run the OpenWii setup disc (if you wish to turn on or off Region Patching).

You might also want to check out some User modchip installs to get an idea how other people installed their chips.
